The IBC GK-1K öko wood gasification boiler is for the demanding and professional heating with untreated wood (split logs/ wood logs). The style of construction is determined by the principle of cast iron elements, which is why the IBC GK-1K öko is an effective and powerful gasification boiler with lower combustion and with an efficiency rate of up to 88 %. The core of the boiler is formed by a cast iron elements body, which consists of a specific number of cast iron elements. The filling and the burning chamber are completely made of cast iron. The passage from filling to burning chamber consists of a vermiculite channel with air inlet strainers. The cast iron elements body is enclosed by an aluminium-lined fibreglass casing to limit radiation loss. The boiler operation with high comfort is easy to control and regulate through the controller panel. Because of intelligent construction of the smoke gas channels very high heat efficiency is achieved. The IBC GK-1K öko is produced in three different power models from 14,9 kW to 37 kW and the average lifespan is 25 – 30 years. The IBC GK-1K öko can be installed as a main boiler or in conjunction with an oil or gas boiler. As ideal combination boiler the IBC GK-1K öko allows the selection of the cheapest fuel. Delivery specification
The boiler is delivered upright on a pallet and completely mounted. Controller panel and casing are packed separately. Delivery specification comprises assembly and operating instructions. Accessories (additional cost) Optional at extra cost the following accessories are available: GK-1K öko safety heat exchanger integrable in the through-flow boiler and thermal process safeguard (according to DIN EN 12828), industrial water accumulator, buffer accumulator or combination accumulator. Installation The installation has to be carried out following the relevant technical and local regulations. In enclosed heating systems a safety heat exchanger with thermal process safeguard (in accordance with DIN EN 12828) is necessary (see IBC Heiztechnik accessories). We recommend the running of the wood gasification boiler with a buffer accumulator (ca. 50 litres per 1 kW boiler rated power). In general the assembly and operating instructions should be read carefully before commissioning! Chimney dimensions You should contact the responsible chimney sweeper.
