Summary of benefits:
Characteristic
The IBC GK-2K öko solid fuel boiler is a cast iron boiler made for heating with untreated wood (pieces of wood/ firewood) and coke (20/40 / 40/60). The style of construction is determined by the principle of cast iron elements. Which is why the IBC GK-2K öko is an effective and powerful natural flue boiler with an efficiency rate of up to 85 %. The core of the boiler is formed by a cast iron body, which consists of a specific number of cast iron elements. The power of the IBC GK-2K öko is determined by the number of cast iron elements. The cast iron elements body is enclosed by a aluminium-lined fibreglass casing to limit radiation loss. With the help of a flue control the combustion intensity can be adjusted. A thermometer monitors the heat output at all times. A new smoke gas channel technology enables optimal heat transfer and less emission impact. The IBC GK-2K öko is produced in two different power models: 10.5 kW and 14.5 kW, with an average lifespan of 25 – 30 years. The IBC GK-2K öko can be installed as a main boiler or in conjunction with an oil or gas boiler. As a combination boiler the IBC GK-2K öko allows the selection of the cheapest fuel. IBC Heiztechnik offers a “36+” month guarantee* for the IBC GK-2K öko models. Compared to a gas or oil heating system you can save with an IBC GK-2K öko solid fuel boiler 50 % and more heating costs. *After 36 months guarantee you can get another 7 years of guarantee for the single cast iron boiler elements. Connections

Delivery specification comprises assembly instructions, operating instructions, thermometer and a cleaning kit. Accessories (additional cost) Optional at extra cost the following accessories are available: GK-2K öko flue control, GK-2K öko safety heat exchanger integrable in the through-flow boiler and thermal process safeguard (according to DIN 12828, industrial water accumulator, buffer accumulator or combination accumulator. Installation The installation has to be carried out following the relevant technical and local regulations. In closed heating systems a safety heat exchanger with thermal process safeguard (in accordance with DIN EN 12828) is necessary (see IBC Heiztechnik accessories). We recommend the running of the solid fuel boiler with a buffer accumulator (ca. 50 litres per 1 kW boiler rated power). Chimney dimensions You should contact the responsible chimney sweeper. He proves the suitability of the present chimney to the planned boiler. Technical data sheet solid fuel boiler GK-2K öko
